Fleece Sale

& Demonstrations

Saturday 17th June 2023

Guild Day as normal from 10.30am - 4pm

Fleece Sale 10.30am - 1pm

Alongside the regular and other offerings of this wonderful raw material, we’ll have demonstrations on using fleece. Janet will also demonstrate how to sort a raw fleece.

The Guild will be inviting our closest neighbour guilds to the fleece sale this year, so bring your crafts and wheels and give them a friendly Wiltshire Guild welcome across the day.

WGSWD Mission

The mission of the Guild is to preserve skills associated with our local heritage of rearing sheep and also to promote those skills and pass them on to the next generation. We do this by sharing our combined knowledge and skills, enhancing our individual areas of expertise by learning new things, and by offering regular courses in Spinning, Weaving and Dyeing.
