Joining the Wiltshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers gives you access to a friendly community, regular events, and opportunities to learn and share craft skills.

Who can join?

Membership is open to anyone with an interest in crafts.  You don't need prior experience or your own equipment - beginners and experienced crafters are equally welcome.

Cost

We have a number of different membership categories which are listed below all of which run from 1st October to 30th September, Half year from 1st April to 30th September.  

 

Full membership £70.00

Online membership £20.00

Young Person's Membership £35

 

Full Membership​​ 

£70 per annum (£35 half year from 1st April only)

​

• Attendance at monthly Guild meetings for £3 door money per session (3rd Saturday of the month) and participation in Guild Groups. 

• Attendance at any of the Guild craft groups for £3 per door money per session for each of the groups you participate in. 

• Access to the Member’s area of the Guild website and the Guild’s private Facebook page.

• To enter items in the guild exhibition.

• To enter items for sale in the annual Christmas Fair and the monthly guild meeting sales table.

• AGWSD (Association of the Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers) membership.

• The right to vote at the guild A.G.M. and to stand as a committee member.

Online Membership 

£20.00​

• Access and use of any and all online content offered by the guild, including but not limited to, the members' section of the website and the private Facebook group.

• Attendance at the Guild Day Programme sessions which are held on the third Saturday of the month, at a visitor rate of £4 (£10 with speaker and on Skills Day). 

• This membership does not include AGWSD membership nor the right to vote in the AGM nor stand for committee.

Young Person's Membership  ​

This is available to persons aged 21 years and below (minimum age 16) and includes the same benefits as full membership.  £35 plus £3 door money per visit.
